More pictures from group painting
The last official class of the year was another classic group painting session. Splashing paint, hand prints and much more.
Are you can see from this extra selection of pictures (courtesy of Angus and Dugal McCrow, the other GGS art teacher) everyone embraced the carefree spirit of the exercise. You can see more here.
Next week is pie and chips night so let Spencer know as soon as possible if you want to go – so many members this year, spaces are limited!!

Hi, I am quite impressed with the new work displayed at Maclean’s Bakery, the artwork gets lots of attention from people who stop in. I work at the Bakery and management has said it is ok with them if I put up a painting but only if it was alright with the art group. I would very much like to join the group but not driving makes that difficult. I have been an artist for years and have an artist facebook page under my name if you want to see some of my work.
thanks, Lorna

Hi Lorna. It’s Angus. I’m not the one to speak to, would probably be liz Downie. What I would suggest is becoming an associate member of the group for a tenner a year. You can pick one workshop to attend with the group, when you can find transport and exhibit a couple of pictures for free at the annual exhibition. Sound good?
