Morvern and Rona have done their bit for our Consequences challenge and now Elaine is hard at work on her response.
For the uninitiated, click here for more information.
The good news is that Rona has contacted Eden Court Theatre in Inverness and they are interested in hosting the exhibition sometime in early 2017 – no pressure then!
We’re printing on mugs and stuff tomorrow night and I’m looking forward to seeing your designs.
For those who would prefer a beer stein, there’ll be a few of those available, along with water bottles, latte mugs, and espresso cups and saucers. Get a price list by clicking here.
There might be a bit of a wait while I’m scanning and printing so bring some work to be getting on with.
Check out the picture, which shows some super-organised people who handed into their lovely drawings last week.
See you at 7pm…
You’ll have to walk around the carpark to get in via the girls entrance. If you go through the big gate, you’ll get trapped in the builders compound FOREVER! (or until you walk through the wee green gate and go around the big fence)
The paper batik will be put off until next week as it looks to be another dodgy night. Stay at home and read a good book!
The front door will be closed next week but art group is still on. Use the door round the side, next to the lift on the side of the big building.
Roads will be awful slidy. Stay at home. The 14th jan workshop on paper batik will run next week. Homework is to gaze at a roaring fire and think of paintings, whilst sipping something warming.
No art group today because of snow. Room will be booked for next Wednesday instead. You’ll be able to pick up your fired clay pieces and make wonderful Christmasy driftwood items with Jo on the 17th.
Thanks to everyone who’s contributed. I’ll keep updating it every now and again with new images so if you missed the chance to get your work uploaded this time don’t worry. Jane Forrest uploaded some lovely tissue paper collage pictures ( a technique we’ll be looking at on September 24)
