Daily walk task 5 – Simple photo editing
This is a computer-based one so feel free to leave it if you want.
Often your source image is the wrong way round to work with what you are trying to draw or is too colourful if you are working in black and white.
It’s a fairly easy thing to address and making changes can help you plan your drawing better.
In this exercise, I also look at how to make an image blurry which will help with future drawing exercises.
Christmas party
For the group meeting on the 19th of December, best advice would be to park around the back of the school and go up the stairs there, to avoid the crowds for the school show.

Abirneithi Sinfonia
An exciting wee logo design project available for you guys to have a go at.
The logo would be used on A4 advertising posters and in the programme and any other literature that is required by the group that is made up of around 40 musicians.
The design should contain both words “Abirneithi” & “Sinfonia” and should be in colour.
there are a couple of examples attached for use as a starting point if you wish.
Workshops
Watercolour workshop on 1st December at Nethy Village Hall, 10:00 till 4:00, £20 for SAG members and £25 for non-members. Workshop will be delivered by Stewart Potter, contact Rona Smith if you wish to attend 01479821341 ronas4@btinternet.com oh ….and materials will be provided if needed .

Wildlife Artist Chris Rose
This wonderfully talented wildlife artist will be giving a talk at the Grant Arms hotel on the 21st of May at 8.30pm.
