Tutor: Angus Grant

Angus GrantOur tutor Angus Grant is an accomplished artist and works as an art and design teacher at Grantown Grammar School.

Angus studied art at Central St Martins in London, followed by jewellery design at Middlesex University. This included a year teaching Western jewellery design at the National Institute of Jewellery Design in Ahmedabad, north India.

He worked in jewellery production for designer Kirt Holmes, before returning north to set up his own jewellery business, which he ran for several years before going into teaching.

Angus has held a number of solo and group exhibitions in the Cairngorms National Park. He also teaches workshops with other agencies, including silversmithing and other craft, does freelance design/graphic work and has worked on a number of commissions.
